Winter Open Day at Druzhba School

On December 7, a large Open Day was held at the International Russian-Chinese School “Druzhba”.

The celebration gathered more than 100 children and parents interested in international education. The school management and partners from China, as well as Russian-, English- and Chinese-language teachers told about the values and unique educational approaches of Druzhba, as well as about the opportunities for its graduates.

The guests got acquainted with the teaching staff, who presented their teaching methodology and spoke about the principles of education based on friendship and mutual assistance; they visited classrooms, gym and other learning spaces that help to develop children in a comprehensive way.

The school director Oleg Zabelin together with Chinese partners conducted Chinese sports gymnastics for the participants of the event. At master classes in Chinese, English and Russian language, handicrafts, playing hulus and makeup in Chinese opera, children got acquainted with the traditions of the Celestial Empire, and parents were convinced that Friendship is a place that reveals a child's talents.

“We are delighted that our event attracted so many interested parents and prospective students. The Open Day is a great opportunity for families to get acquainted with our educational system and the atmosphere of intercultural friendship we create,” said Oleg Zabelin, General Director of the school.
